“fensterbau/frontale” 2010 in Nuremberg
As a meeting point in the line of business, “fensterbau/frontale” is regarded quite simply as the European trade fair for windows, doors and facades. In the exhibition halls, which were fully booked, 761 exhibitors from 33 countries displayed their latest products. Together with the 515 exhibitors of “Holz-Handwerk 2010”, the exhibition for woodcrafts, the participants at this double fair greeted over 100,000 visitors.
The show management therefore had every reason to draw a positive balance, which CAD-PLAN can unreservedly confirm. On the exhibition stand, which covered 220 square meters and, following tradition, was shared with Orgadata, T.A. Project, O.P.S. and the Soft-Ing. Team, CAD-PLAN was able to welcome many long-standing customers and a large number of potential ones. And the extraordinarily large number of foreign visitors at CAD-PLAN underlined the international significance of “fensterbau/frontale”.
Discussions with customers and other interested visitors left the CAD-PLAN staff with the impression of a good atmosphere within the industry and that there was a positive outlook for the field of windows and facades. It was primarily small and medium-sized companies which showed a pronounced readiness to invest in innovative field-specific software solutions, which could be seen from the keen interest in ATHENA, flixo and SJ MEPLA.
Over the four exhibition days the CAD-PLAN team had their hands full with presentations and consultancy and CAD-PLAN assessed the participation at the “fensterbau/frontale 2010” as very successful.
A special highlight was the stand party held on the second day of the fair. Plied with food and drink, over 500 guests partied in a relaxed mood, which was at least in part due to the band “The Missfizz” with their inspiring musical performance.
Participation in the “fensterbau/frontale” every two years has long been an established part of CAD-PLAN’s exhibition activities and attendance at this exhibition in 2012 has already been scheduled.
